Each organization has a unique way of doing things — and branding is no different. It could be updating a message that no longer reflects your vision. Maybe it’s reimagining your brand identity to inspire new audiences. Or refreshing a website to keep up with the times. DISTINC_ is where it all starts. There are no rules, templates, or shortcuts. It’s about crafting your values-based brand to help you connect with your story, empower you to organize, and inspire you to drive your brand forward.

Turning Point School

Nothing is stronger than a mission backed by science. Though a remarkable experience, Turning Point School had yet to be defined in a proprietary way. We partnered with the Culver City school to leverage its history, pedagogy, and curriculum in order to anchor its brand — helping them proclaim a distinct space and owning it. Our conversations around positive psychology brought out the school’s new themeline: A Positive Equation for Achievement. The brand visual language graphically portrays dopamine, endorphins, and serotonin — the students’ state of flow. The brand identity highlights 32 foundational elements that drive each student's experience from their very first day of preschool until their eighth grade graduation.

“Searching for a creative firm to lead my school through a complete rebranding project was an incredibly high-stakes venture, but I knew during my first phone call with DISTINC_ that they were the team who could get us there. They had an incredible ability to almost intuitively understand my school’s goals, and they worked strategically, creatively, and inclusively to capture what is best about our organization, crafting visuals and language that far exceeded even our most hopeful expectations. The rebranding project they spearheaded for us was completely genuine to who we are as a school but at the same time positions us in a way that is completely different and unique from our competitors. That initial project was just the start of our partnership; we now consider DISTINC_ to be an integral part of our team and have engaged in many other projects with them. I cannot wait to see what we come up with next!”
— Courtney Baker, Director of Communications and Marketing at Turning Point School
